I seem to be on a roll at the gym these days. I'm lifting lots of weight. When I do cardio, I sweat. I feel a bit thiner around the spare tire area.
Ralph the stalker actually directed his voice in my direction today when an old guy asked me about my trainer. It seems he's having a hard time showing up. He can do wicked bicep curls anyways though.. 70lbs! I can only do 50. In my defense I am 5'9. He is 6'3 or so. He's taller than me at any rate.
I had in my mind a target of the end of may to sort out what I wanted done with my arm/shoulder tattoo. I have a million pictures with a million different ideas..more on that another day.
It's been only 2 weeks but I love you already. You do excatly what I say and allow me more control over the TV than I already have.
Our household has redisovered rugby as you must have figured out. What's not to love? Big beefy men in short shorts, asses in the air & violence! It's a sport for everyone!
We love the fact that you can find old eppisodes of Yes Prime Minister as well as new episodes of our favourite travel shows that come on too late for us to watch without falling asleep.
Our roomate loves you to because you introduced her to Sean. She was losing hope that there were no men out there left for her but you came into her life and showed her Sean. Thank you. (PS- Sean is very nude on the interweb.. just search)
Chest Hair- Some guys look good with it..some don't. I wish I did. Sadly I don't. I have to shave every day or every other day. If I had this guy's chest hair I wouldn't have to or want to shave.
Last week we had a blast of spring/summer weather and I've come to realize, more and more, that I'm not a winter person. I like spring through fall, but I can live without winter.
The plans to move to SA have hit a snag in that there are politics going on that are making it very risky to take my money and invest it in South Africa. For those of you not in the know, there is a politician, one I feel is as dirty as they come, that is talking about nationalizing banking and mining in the country. When that happens, foreign investment drys up and international companies don't invest in a country where they won't see a return on their investment. The argument for nationalization is that it will distribute the wealth more evenly across the population. Something I think is needed. I just don't agree with the method. It leads to corruption and I fear that if I come and invest in something like real estate, my property could get nationalized and I would be left with nothing.
My long term goal remains the same that I'd like to move to someplace warmer, but It will have to be on hold for a while.
I fell off the wagon over the past few weeks, indulging in some fast food on the weekends. It's not horrible since I feel like I'm a bit more balanced now. My ice cream intake is reduced from 6 a week to 1. I've stopped craving it altogether.
The biggest struggle I'm having is to eat enough and the very best things for myself. I'm trying to focus on 3 things:
Supplements- Swallow my vitamins
Have protein with every meal
Eat less carbs in the back half of the day.
My gut has decreased in size and my arms are bigger. That is all due to the work I'm doing at the gym. My trainer has kicked up my workouts to a larger intensity level. What that means to me is that my abs, arms, ass and pecs hurt after every workout.
