It snowed here the other day. It rarely snows in the GTA, that's the greater Toronto area for all of you not from here but living someplace else.

Toronto is interesting. It's a big city with a few million. It's not New York or London but we like it. Toronto tries very hard to be caring and sensitive even while the city attempts to destroy you. This area is the most multi-cultural place in the world. We all play a game called 'Where are you from?' You need a globe sometimes to keep up.

The area where I work is well known for having a huge east asian population. Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan. Also a big arab population. Billboards are in lots of languages.

Today there is snow. What happens when you mix people from this part of the world and snow? Absolute panic. Dear in the headlights panic. Shame and welcome to Canada eh?

March 22nd

This is a big catch up post stream of consiousness so bear with me.

The braces are now installed. My teeth are sore. I know that at the end of the tunnel I will be finally be able to floss without putting myself in some pain. In the meantime, I'll get cleanings every 3 months to keep the baddies at bay. I'm pretty sure this is going to help with my diet since smoothies and protien shakes seem to be the only thing I can chew wthout pain.

The BF is away in CT so I'm really bored. Luckiliy I am swamped with work so I fill my time with re-runs of my new favorite show Departures and polishing off reports.

I got my tax refund which should pay for my share of the braces.

I got my new soccer boy haircut that my mom says makes me look 20. Moms say the sweetest things eh? The BF was sent a picture and he says it's cute.

My job has been changed ever so slightly so that I now have 5 provinces to look after instead of 1. No worries, I got a raise and it looks like since we achieved our sales we will get a performance bonus. Yes, you read it right, a PERFORMANCE bonus. That means if you achieve a big result, you get more money. If we dont, we go without bonus.

I had to go to BC a few weeks ago for work and got to visit my nephew for a few hours. No, I did not ski, I worked. About 15 hours a day.

My arms are finally starting to reveal themselves. If only my abs would.

Sunday

I have come to some conclusions about my weekends.

1. It is best to have a plan in advance. If not I will just be lazy.
2. I need to hire a maid. I never clean as much as I want to.
3. I jerk off way too much on the weekends. (5 or 6 times)
4. I work way too much on the weekends. (3-4 hours)
5. I could have cleaned the garage!
6. In my defenceI did go and get groceries and I did clean the  toilet.

To keep everyone interested this is Blake. He's on TV, he dances, he's hot. (Yes that is a tattoo in the form of a chain which makes him look even hotter)

Weekend Update

Monday- 30 min of Cardio.

Tuesday- Big stuff at work. Lots of reports, lots of meetings. Jerked of once. Did my personal training session. Arms/Chest. Chatted with guy on line that sounded interesting. He and I chat on a semi reg basis. We have wanted to get together for a while. We agree that Friday may be a good time.

Wednesday- 30 min of cardio. Meetings. Work.

Thursday.- Woke up feeling shitty but in a good mood. See above for the reason. Skipped gym but brought bag to work just in case. Worked on things till 1. Left work to work from home. Stopped at gym at 2. It's dead at that time. Perfect. The yummy mummies and dads are all working, the old folks are getting ready for dinner or having naps. Chatted up the straight but somewhat cute gym attendant. Worked out, went home, made a 4pm dinner. Couch surfed. (Notice the working from home didn't really happen.

Friday- This was to be my work from home day. But first i did my training session at the gym. Legs/Back/Shoulders and the dredded chin ups. Then I actually worked!! Lots..
